Accreditation

The School of Modern Naturopathy is an accredited training provider, approved by the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners in the UK, by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners in the USA and by the International Institute for Complementary Therapists in Australia and New Zealand. Our graduates will also be eligible to work in Canada.

Upon successful completion of our course, you will be awarded a Diploma entitling you to practise as a natural health practitioner specializing in naturopathic nutrition, and to join a professional association.

Association membership will enable you to obtain professional insurance, which is one of the most important pre-requisites of working as a natural medicine practitioner and is a legal requirement in some parts of the world.*

Graduates from the School of Modern Naturopathy will find the knowledge gained from our course invaluable when working in private practice, fitness centres, health food stores or spas. Our course will also be extremely useful if you plan to launch a product company, write books and articles, or get involved in natural medicine teaching or research.

Laws Governing the Practice of Natural Medicine

It is rare to encounter any problems with the law. However in the United States laws can vary from state to state. In some states you may have to apply for a business license. In others there are regulations which may not permit you to describe yourself as a Naturopath unless you have attended a four-year university course and paid 100,000 dollars.

This does not prevent you from working as a natural health adviser. Many practitioners working in the U.S. call themselves Rejuvenation Specialists, Wellness Counselors or Health Coaches. There is no law against being a teacher of healthy living.

Why Choose The School Of Modern Naturopathy?

At the School of Modern Naturopathy we believe that many university courses in natural medicine are too keen to model themselves on conventional or allopathic medicine. We believe that this approach does not necessarily produce the most effective health advice and so may not be in the client’s best interests.

On the contrary, the School of Modern Naturopathy makes the client’s best interests a priority. We sincerely believe that our person-centred holistic protocols will help the greatest number of people return to wellness. The quality of our training is acknowledged by the Professional Associations which have awarded us accreditation.
