Enrolling for Linda Lazarides’ One Year Intensive Course in Naturopathic Nutrition (‘the Course’) implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a binding agreement between you and Linda Lazarides trading as the School of Modern Naturopathy (‘the School’).

Internet Access

It is a requirement of the course that you have internet access in order to use the student forum, locate information for your assignments and submit them online.

Communication

All communications will be in English. All administrative communications between you and the School must be by post or by e-mail sent to admin@naturostudy.org. In order to keep down the costs of the Course, the School does not employ staff to deal with telephone enquiries.

All questions about the Course content and assignments must be asked on the internet forum to which you will be given access.

Payment

We will set up a monthly subscription for you using Stripe.com. Once the first payment has been made please allow up to 24 hours for us to set up your student account and provide access to your online content.

Paypal alternative
We can set up a Paypal subscription for you instead if you prefer. Please email us to make this request.

All students
You should not make your first payment until you are ready to start receiving your module books. The payment processor will make an automatic payment every month for 12 months and will email you when it has been made. Payment breaks are not possible unless you cancel your subscription and start a new subscription at a later date.

If you should subsequently start a new subscription at a later date this will be at the monthly fee rate currently in force, which may be greater than the rate that was available when you started your first subscription. Our current rate can be checked on the Prospectus page of this website. We will also ask you to pay a reactivation fee to cover the additional administrative work.

Please contact us if you prefer instead to pay your whole course fee in advance for the year.

Course Materials

All course materials will be in the English language and in addition to the online module content the Student will also receive 10 printed module books. One module book per month for 10 months will be despatched to your mailing address.

You must ensure that we always have your up-to-date mailing address. Postage is expensive, and you will be charged extra if the School is obliged to re-send a module book because you were not available to take delivery of it. The books are sent from the United Kingdom, and, depending on where you are in the world, and the efficiency of your local postal service, they may take some weeks to arrive.

Assignments

To gain the School’s Diploma you will be required to complete satisfactorily and in good time each assignment which accompanies the monthly modules, plus a final course assignment/assessment.

Students should normally submit each monthly assignment within 30 days of receiving each module book. However in order to allow for vacations and contingencies, a student will be allowed up to 14 months to complete all the course work. The student must notify the School if he or she requires an extension. If the student fails to request an extension, or exceeds the extension without submitting the work, penalties will be applied as set out on the Student Resources page. If a student lapses for a year or more without contacting us, the contract between the student and the School will be deemed null and void.

Graduates of the Course will be eligible to register with one of the professional associations which accredits the School.

Disclaimer

The information presented in the Course is not intended as a substitute for medical training. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy, but the Course is provided on the understanding that the School is not liable for any misconception or misuse of the information provided and shall have neither liability nor responsibility to any person or entity with respect to any loss, damage or injury caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly by the said information. Cancellations and Refunds

Please email us if you wish to cancel your payments.
If you are using Paypal, you can cancel by logging into your Paypal account. Your subscription is in the name of L A Lazarides, and you will find it by clicking ‘Profile’ > ‘My Money’ > ‘My Preapproved Payments’. The name which will appear on your credit card statement is HEALTHDIETS.

No refunds will be given for payments already made unless you cancel your subscription within 28 days after your first payment. You must also email us to claim your refund. You will then receive a refund of your first subscription payment less a small administrative charge.

Disputes

In the event of any legal disputes between you and the School, you agree that these will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms and Conditions may be changed at any time without notice. Students should also monitor their Student Resources page for updates after enrolment.
